I am in the quoted image and I DO NOT like it.

I wonder if the losses in YouTube while Tik Tok expands are a mirror LiveJournal becoming a desert when Twitter became a thing. Short-form gives a quick endorphin hit, long form may have more quality information, but takes mental energy and more time to consume.
Look, the "do we want Thai, Eritrean, or the Philippino burritos?" discussions can destroy family harmony.
Things you could repair.
Almost any of our immigrant cuisines or fusions therein. In much of the bay area it is harder to find "mall food" than it is to find great anything else nearby.
You just do this to make sure all your followers are people who love you anyway?
Butterfly! Bees are visitors later in the season?
I mean Rhianna is absolutely a boss, but it is not a cover. (It is also damn catchy and the movie it (Home) was written for is adorable.)
I was about to say you aren't *that* young, before I realized your kids are old enough that you missed Rhianna's Dancing in the Dark as the play on repeat song.
Idle thought based on vibes rather than data: We also seem to be in a misogynist cultural swing where it feels like "she was asking for it" is back to being an actionable excuse for abuse. So not showing nips and blending in just seems safer for day to day functoning?
guys, this is how you lose the time war
I...I can't even come up with a ridiculous reasoning for this trend, much less a plausible explanation.
The posts in r/quilts (demographic mostly as one would suppose) are "here is my quilt for my newest grand baby due in June and here are the four protest ones I rage-quilted last month."
I was about to say substitute "musician" with "quilter" or "sewist" and I will feel so seen.
Tabby stands on hind legs with one paw outstretched toward a TV displaying a capsule above water.
NASA failed to predict the real splashdown risk.
Okay, it didn't last three minutes. But steady is shelter in place, slow is tsunami, and fast is fire. It may may have been fire? (because in an actual emergency, staff should def hang around the IT minion's desk tying to figure out which .wav matches a siren)

Oakland's warning sirens are going off out of testing schedule, and I can't figure out why.
I mean you can just read Kiergegaard and extrapolate from the subtle rebuttle?
(like you are probably right, as I think the only bigger blue birds in the US are jays, and the beak looks wrong for a juvenile jay)
Are those really tiny leaves? Aren't blue birds like, small?
I don't know whether to be annoyed or grateful that I have missed whatever prompted this.
(Everything is a horrific dumpster fire! Do I really need to inspect every flaming turd in the conflagration?)
A WHOLE CIVILIZATION WILL DIE TONIGHT My son needs lunch, and I have to put his backpack together, but a whole civilization will die tonight, so I'm wondering if they've closed their schools. Like, a snow day, maybe, except instead of snow it's "keep your children home so if you die, you die together" — instead of "well open back up once the plows have cleared" it's "we don't know if we'll be here tomorrow, hold your babies tight." It's just "talk" I'm told, which I've been told before. "It's how the president makes his deals." But I've never heard anyone talk about other human beings this way, and I'm not certain I can look my son in the eyes if we all agree to stomach it one more time. A civilization will die tonight, but as I zip up his backpack and kiss him off to school I think: if this is what we call leadership then I'm not entirely sure ours isn't already dead. @michaelfdubois Mukad A QuBoy @michacifdubois
Brutal.
I'f always though that cedar waxwings were some east of the Rockies or northern forest bird, but holy crikey! This morning there was a whole tree full of them on my block!
Oooh! Now do PAI!
Getting a fitness tracker?
I blame it on my Scandinavian forbearers' behavior modeling, but sometimes it is difficult to remember that that I don't have to stoically power through pain or ailment.
Clear plastic silos containing blank DVD-Rs and CD-RWs. Also in image are vintage IT rememants such as a vga cable and a non-USB-C device power cord
I know that pain, they are somehow difficult to throw out, then become invisible.
I am not sure we even have any device that can write to these, yet here they sit.
How long has the box of CD-RW's been sitting there?
I think people are allowed to draw conclusions about the American people based on their decision to put this man in office bsky.app/profile/pear...
