I'm fueling my mind again with one of my favorite allegorical animes. It's just because the brain rot of 2025 is spreading too much. So, I'm fortifying my mind. #revolutionarygirlutena #animejunkie #90sanime #lgbtqia+

Every new day I choose to learn something new to help me comprehend the idocracy of society today.
I'm starting to believe the 2006 film foresaw our future.

Some people live in premeditated ignorance, while some truly are the ignorant who know nothing about the world around them. One is aware enough but plays dumb about it. The other lacks the awareness and the education to recognize they are being played.

The most draining thing right now in life is watching my country get devoured internally because no one saw that authoritarianism and dictatorship/fascism were always around the corner and now we are here. Living the full brunt of it. When you learn the tells, the signs were always there. #USHistory
I believe the Musky thought certain people for human rights and civil liberties would take a beating lying down. Well... I believe Narcissists don't like getting the same dish served back to them.
Edgar Allan Poe once said, "Anyone who claims to be sane needs to be locked in a straight-jacket." I live by this quote now. Instead the word 'sane' changes based on the persons delusion of themself.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not going to tolerate or normalize bad behavior from people. My call list has slimmed up quite a bit. My phone is lean now and has more space since I deleted plenty of apps from tech that don't have anyone's best interests in mind.
Societal abuse seems to be an ongoing experience at this point. And they wonder where all this trauma comes from.
Video games even teach about deception and normalizing abuse. Now the most hefty abusers are running rampant, using deception and expecting us to normalize their behavior.
This time of the year I enjoy a good steaming bowl of lentil soup.
What a reliable old friend, indeed...
Good or bad, it doesn't matter. My brain is never the same without it.
Back in art school, I indirectly learned important lessons as an artist. One critique session taught it all. #1 Selling a process. #2 Tell the story of what inspired the idea. The more fantastical the story, the more it intrigues the viewer. So I had to become a storyteller.
Words hold more power.
My personality test back in the day labeled me as an INFJ. However...
How I read the acronym was "Intentionally Not F***ing Joking." I love my version better.
That's 150% my personality type right there.
My morning entertainment during my 3rd cup of coffee was "Personality Tests Are Dumb... And Dangerous." OMG! So true. I got the indication it was invented to ensure you're a working, productive member of society, liquidating individuality. Personality tests are just labeling a cage. I'm not caged.
OMG! My nostalgia senses are firing...
Yep...
I'm old. ๐
One beautiful day is enough for me.
That's the dream life.
People have interesting choices when it comes to tattoos. It makes it even more interesting on what the cover-up would look like later in life when she gets tired of it or realizes it causes more trouble than good. The mistakes some people make with permanent body art.
Guess which one I am today?

If someone asks, "What's your weekend plans?" My answer would be, "Zombie hunting with the crew."
My childhood here.
I'm having a cheeky day, like most days as a keyboard Jane. Someone was telling me we need to be kind 'til thee end with all that's goin' on. I'm thinking, "Can I just be 'kind' with claws and fangs." Because for real, they make more of a statement than anything else soft-served.
I watched something about providing value. "To become successful, one must provide value." Can I just be a witty beer-drinker, who rants, writes some fantasy novels, yet whose heart runs blacker than the hole in the universe? Or a paint splat on society's silly construct because I'm no puppet.
The funniest thing I learned was that pirates didn't know how to fight well so, they dressed to intimidate to make up for the lack of skill. It's even sillier when you realize the wealthy got so bored, they became pirates. At least, "Our Flag Means Death" was so funny, I spit beer out of my nose.

To add to this: People back then became Pirates for the same issues we have today. The working class gets stiffed on the wages. They got screwed on wages back then, and we get extremely screwed over today. Nothing much has changed, has it?
The most funniest, yet the most sad thing I learned recently was that pirates before America had democracy down better than we do today, and it was highly diverse to the point that everyone's vote was equal to the captain. Maybe we need to learn from Pirates of the Carribean about democracy.
What universe have I entered?
