"Don't worry; everyone will skirt the rules," isn't really reassuring. The people who FO will not be the ones who FAd.

I moved over to Substack and wrote a free intro to philosophy book. If you're a student of philosophy or are interested in philosophy, I recommend it. Again, it's free! philosophychatter.substack.com/p/free-intro...
Been spending most of my social media time at Substack, but I'll pop in to ask a question. What's a philosophy term or idea that comes to mind that starts with the letter N? Nihilism? Natalism? Normativity? Will help me formulate the next chapter of my free philosophy text book.
Thank you so much! I understand that not everyone can help, but I really do appreciate that you're spreading the word for me.
Watching Smile 2 again. What a solid flick. Awesome opening scene.
Stephen King’s killer dog classic CUJO is headed back to the screen with a new adaptation in the works from Netflix, and the film’s director may have been found in Darren Aronofsky.
Remember Dungeon Magazine? This is one of my favorite covers. Masterpiece. A Rose for Talakara. What would you be looking for in a "reboot" of something like this? Generic systems? One long adventure? Side Treks? #rpg #dungeon #dragons #art #fantasy
Are you interested in #teaching #learning or #pedagogy ? I wrote an article on how to get students to DO philosophy rather than just learn about it. Applicable to many disciplines. open.substack.com/pub/philosop...
Augustus. Aka Auggie. He’s been at the vet a lot of late with an autoimmune condition. But he’s a snuggler.
The first is the best, but some of the sequels are quite good, too.
The HH movies are filmed right by where I grew up. Awesome memories of shopping at the general store on the same peppery as a teen. Halloween was incredible there. Food. Corn. Costumes. Super nostalgic.
I think I’d do 2e.
I’ll have to check it out. My son plays a solo campaign. I think he uses 5e.
Never done it.
I‘m so happy for both of you. My auggie has been struggling with anemia and xanthomatosis since December. Nearly lost him twice. Anemia has cleared, but the rest seems autoimmune. It’s mentally taxing, expensive, and a lot to put him through. But he’s doing great right now. They’re blessings.
Anyone see #thegorge movie? #gorge I really enjoyed the setup. Right into the thick of things. #horror
I wrote a short horror/suspense story (4100 words). You can read a single article behind my paywall for free. You might enjoy this one. substack.com/@travisjrodg...
Anyone see and enjoy #thegorge movie?
I've been posting #philosophy chatter, #dungeon chatter, and #horror chatter over at #substack. I'm making an effort to post more here. But if you like any of those things, check out travisjrodgers.substack.com
Update on my chronically ill cat. He finished his most recent round of antibiotics. He's on immunosuppresive therapy (steroids), but he has gained more than a pound in the last three weeks and has all his personality back! Love you, Auggie.
gofund.me/4c22cd54 I haven't posted much on here because I've been taking care of my sick cat. Anything you can offer is appreciated.
David Lynch's Dune and 24 Hour Party People.
My wife loves to farm. I love to scavenge. Our friend loves to craft. Works out well.
Same. Haven’t gotten to see the most recent update, but we’re excited about cross play and eventual survivors and raiders (2025).
Read it recently. Absolutely loved it.
Started watching Black Doves. Seemed deeply in medias res. Episode was halfway finished and I told my wife I had no idea how the series would hold tension for 5 more episodes. Credits rolled. I’d started on the last episode. Ruined it.

Tough. Cage was creepiest by far when on screen. Abigail was a fun and surprising character. In a Violent Nature was a polarizing film, but it included a top-notch villain with sustained air time.
