Overall strong season, great character moments and decent action. Very excited to see where things will go from here, especially with the cliff-hanger it's left on.
A strong 8.5/10

Thragg at first felt veeeerry underwhelming, he really lacked the presence and fear factor that he was hyped up to have. However episode 7 really made him feel like such a threat, and i'm very interested to see where he'll go from here.
Still wish he was more present earlier on in the season tho.
Animation overall this season is mostly better than before, season 1 still remains the best visually, but it's mostly)( consistently good.
When they wanted too the animation was fantastic, especially in the conquest rematch and Thragg fight. Still wish the smaller moments were better too
However the episode right after that is honestly one of the best in the entire series, with both fantastic character moments with Nolan and great action too. That episode is a 10/10 lol.
Story wise this season covers the entirety of the Viltrumite War story arc. Once the war starts it's just constant full throttle and is really solid.
Prior to that it was a little weaker, especially the hell episode very much felt like padding without much to add to the overall main story.
Invincible Season 4 wrapped up today, and this is definitely a strong season, easily the best since season 1. Really escalates the stakes to a new level and really nails it.

I just realized that thanks to the Dana guest, the whole cast of Schwarzerblitz, Exploding Judo Federation and Duels of Fortune has a Ryu number now.
And due to the crossover with DoF, HYPERFIGHT too.
Shoto Goto has a Ryu Number of 6.
The most bad-ass rebuttal from Tite Kubo, the author of Bleach.
Dana will be available with a set of three costumes and four colors, including a Stella and Sei color for each of them!
>A new character enters the Exploding Judo Ring...
Overall fantastic movie, story is fairly simple but just the constant back and fourth between the characters and the great theming and ideas behind it really help it stand out. Something that will stick with me for a while.
A very strong 9/10.
Visually this movie is fantastic too, there are plenty of scenes with minimal dialogue where two characters are just trying to out think each other silently, and the cinematography and acting perfectly helps to just show what they're thinking and give you plenty of context within those scenes.
Anton was the one thing i knew most amount before going into this movie, and I really was not prepared for just how scary he is. Some of his scenes boarder on horror movie levels of tension.
Special shoutout to that gun he has, it's such a genuinely terrifying noise.
The ending at first was a little disappointing, but with how this movie is almost an anti-western it really is a perfect way for it to go, and it's incredibly bittersweet, all three of them get endings that are very much counter to their ideology, i guess it really is... no country for old men
the movie at times, likely due to it's multiple protagonists, can feel a little disjointed at times, at some points it can jump fairly rapidly making it a little hard to tell just how much time has passed, but it gives you enough context clues to figure it out eventually, just not right away
Llewlyn has many scenes where he plans things out so thoroughly across several scenes, to the point where i was half expecting him to go full rambo lol, but he's always a few steps behind Anton and i found that so interesting, it just shows how out of his depth he really is and how scary Anton is
Anton and Llewlyn feeling like these polar opposites, with Anton being this emotionless killing machine who seems to hold fate to a very high regard, and Llewlyn being this very inexperienced individual that somehow survived as long as he did, seemingly just dodging his "fate" buy just a hair
Film is told from three different characters POVs, with all of them trying get the 2 million left behind.
I love that all three of these characters are very much based around different western movie archetypes, but are a much more flawed in their approach.
No Country for Old Men is one of those movies i've been aware of for so long and for some reason have never seen up until now.
Very glad i have tho since it's a fantastic movie
EXPLOSION!!!! Dana Zane from @sukeban.moe's VA-11 Hall-A enters the Exploding Judo Ring for an official collaboration! She'll be available on April 24 as a free update to the base game! Time to mix drinks and change lives... with A BEATDOWN! #gamedev #va11halla #FGC
Thing is tho Iron Lung was a self contained one off movie, this is a series finale, it has far different implications for existing fans especially when it comes to spoilers.
Brecky the Dottler/Orbeetle
Overall it's a decent 6/10, partly because of nostalgia and not having a complete picture of the source material it's based on.
It'll be something i still remember fondly, just maybe not to the same degree lol.
I feel like as well the movie sets up a much more philosophical story but completely undercuts it towards the end, and just doesn't play into it as much as I remember.
the books however I hear do follow that sort of direction much closer, all while being fun
It's a very very strong start for the movie as well, which had me hopeful for the rest of it but it really does just delve into a fairly standard sci-fi romp with occasional absurdism that actually was funny.
That being said it's still quite funny, and many moments have always stuck with me such as "so long and thanks for all the fish" and "the meaning of life = 42"
Makes me want to maybe check out the book series to see what this series is at it's best.
There are moments of nonsequitors and strange absurdism but definitely feels toned down and more inherently "quirky" for the sake of quirky instead of having any significant baring on the worldbuilding
I've never read the book series myself unfortunately, but from what i can gather, this movie is veeeerrrrry inaccurate to them. Mostly seemingly stripping down a lot of it's core identity to make it far more standard and bland movie.
