And this is one of the best beaches I've been to in some time. Most places, sea is entirely dead now. Nothing left.

There is an entire world under the water people can't see. Where all our garbage, plastics go, where results of our carbon burning happen. Only problem is, we need the sea to exist.

There are some little groups of coral left further out where the swimmers don't see them. And there are some fish, but mainly parrot fish. Parrot fish are like the rats of the sea. It's hard to get rid of them. But the more delicate species are all gone. Presumably thousands of species extinct.

Where I am, there was a huge coral bleaching event 2 yrs ago. Beaches are littered w/coral. Snorkeling, you find vast areas where the seabed is just dead sand. There are no shells on the beach, indicating no life in the ocean. Zero. Dead. Children collect the dead coral and think it's really cool.

One example. The Great Barrier Reef is nearly entirely dead. One of the most amazing natural features of Earth is gone. People still visit as tourists and really enjoy themselves because there are small areas where locals feed the fish and the wildlife to keep them alive in certain parts of the sea.

I just tried to clarify the info for people who might not know what is happening, which is most everybody.

People who live in tourist areas/rely on visitors to see birds, fish, or snorkel often lie about the condition of earth because their livelihoods depend on it.
