I know “un biopic really really bad” is a reference to MJ lyrics, but it is funny to imagine a French critic being like
“Mon Dieu, zis filme est so sheetee, la belle langue française is insufficient to descroibe. Zis requires la vulgarité de l'anglais!”

There’s are jobs (mostly food-related) that I’d be varying degrees of cool with to actually prefer working with someone if this was their thing, but… maybe not the “keep track of all the paperwork and legal agreements associated with a purchase I’m making in the multiple-hundred-thousand range” job.

Ah! Gotcha.
I mean I guess there’s a limited number of nights in a week, so probably quite a few gay choruses out there practice on mondays…

Wait… Are you in the Austin GMC? Because my partner is at their rehearsal right now.

The Ability To Play As Bowser Has Made Our Society More Evil

Perhaps he's offering a corrective - a vision of a return to a more sensible and just society?

Adding footage to an old movie and insisting that watching this new version is "critical" for enjoying the next one is almost a parody of why I, and a lot of people, fell off the MCU post-Endgame. It became homework!
"You have to see X to get Y"—NO! Stop making me do homework! Just make fun movies!

The two possible explanations for saying adding new footage to Endgame is "critical" for Doomsday:
1. it's true, which means you made a shitty sequel that can't stand on its own
2. it's a lie, a cheap and transparent ploy to scam people buying tickets to a movie they've already seen.
Both bad looks!

I was pretty 50/50 on whether I'm invested enough in Marvel anymore to see the new one, but them saying "we had to add a bunch of footage to a seven-year-old movie that is 'critical' to making this one work" is a pretty massive weight on the "no thanks" side of the scale.

I haven't gotten into many live service games, and part of it was that they often seemed to focus on making changes that mostly were for the hardcore folks spending hundreds of hours playing the game. So I appreciate us casual scrubs not being left behind.

I've just had the most dogshit streak of runs in Marathon. Something like 7 or 8 times in a row, no exfil. Possibly my worst streak ever.
That said, the new "all sponsored kits" mode makes having a cold streak a lot less demoralizing.

It’s v annoying that all the people who said that exercise is tied to mental health are right. Like I was in a bad mood and then I went to the gym and now I feel better??? Honestly rude

Like, eat what you want, but I feel like throwing a bunch of cream cheese into everything is treated in these videos like some kind of a special cooking hack for deliciousness, which I guess it is in the same way “there is nothing actually stopping you from having ice cream for breakfast” is.

“My kids won’t ever say they’re not hungry when we’re having these chicken jalapeno popper shredded chicken sandwiches!”
Yeah, Diane, because because you’re feeding them a slurry that is mostly delicious warm melted processed dairy fat and their brains haven’t developed “self-restraint” yet.

How long do we think it’s going to take to see the permanent uptick in cardiac ER admissions from the moment that every recipe video on social media started being “throw a bunch of cream cheese into a slow cooker.”

A spam text claiming to be from T-mobile. I’m not going to transcribe it because it includes a URL (TLD “.boats”) that is obviously a phishing link.

Ah yes, a legitimate text from my cell phone provider, whose website’s top-level domain is “.boats”

Me, most of the time: “it’s embarrassing how some people on here get hung up on things like follower counts. Who cares?”
Me when I have a post go semi-viral and cool people who don’t follow me engage with it:

The Order of the Acre is a clandestine mercenary company of monk-knights seeking to bit by bit claim the whole world for their goddess, but when you do stuff that seems cool/spooky (mutilate your faces and magically alter voices so you all look/sound the same), it’s hard to know who’s giving orders.

I’m hoping it’s that awful welsh(?) accent RDJ did for that weird vanity Doctor Doolittle he did after Endgame.

Sun Tzu (pleading from beyond the grave): "You have to properly feed your soldiers. Please. It is the one thing you must do above all else. I am begging you to make this your number one priority."

A constant for him, going back to quitting his own show, seems to be that he cannot accept responsibility for the fact that the things he creates have an impact beyond just "getting laffs" in a comedy show. If people engage with his words beyond just laughing at them immediately, it's THEIR fault.
