I don't know this album. I played the song and was just thinking how not every late 70s song was disco, when there came the disco beat. I like it. Its a little mellow but with a great groove.

I'm not a big fan of dance and club music, but I've had some fun clubbing, and Madonna's I feel So Free sounds like music that will get people grooving on the dance floor.
This and Strut are tops but I like the whole album.
This is the only Heart song that I really like and it's a great one. I only know the singles, but it's strange how I only enjoy one.
Not too long ago, I ordered the 3 CD European hits collection from Amazon UK just to get a physical copy of this song.
One of the best Tina songs
I saw the MTV video premiere and bought the cassette album on release day. My favorite songs are on the first 2 albums but I've played this one 10 times more, with 1 track that often gets skipped.
The sound effects got my attention. I've listened to the whole album a few times and it's very good. Still looking for the first album at charity shops.
First listen, and its mellow but interesting. It makes me want to check out more of her vocal work..
If you're near de Dam, my husband and I had excellent food at Mogul Indian restaurant on Rokin, and breakfast at die Laatse Kruimel at Langebrugsteeg 4, both near Rokin metro station.
Also, the set design is too noticeable, and I've had my fill of the rogue with a heart of gold and a giant chip on his shoulder who has to break the rules to succeed and is rewarded for it character, but it's fun and I'm interested to see what happens next.
My husband and I have watched two episodes of Starfleet Academy. He liked Discovery for the same reasons that I didn't, and while some of those are in this production, I'm really enjoying it.
I took the chance to listen again to Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know and I won't listen often but it was more fun than I remembered. No other songs have the certain something of Brand New Lover, but they all have a good beat and I'll play again.
This is brand new music for me. Since I never heard this on the radio or VH-1, I lost track of her after Barking at Airplanes. This is on my list to buy now.
My favorite of hers, at least of the two albums I have.
Ive never seen this before. It looks like it could be the inspiration for the Star Trek Voyager episode The Thaw.
I really like this, the words soaring and anthem come to mind. The best part is that she's singing like a normal person instead of pronouncing words so weirdly and annoyingly like most contemporary artists. This definitely sounds like a Eurovision song and it will be fantastic live for the show.
My interest in pop music and culture was just starting so I knew this song and album, but it was the next album that really got my attention. Now of course this is up there with The Lucky One tied at #2; I'd forgotten that my top favorite is actually Spanish Eddie from that next album.
The beat sounds very similar to Agnetha" Fältskog's Once Burned Twice Shy
It's hard to say if this or Self Control is my number one. Either way, they're two of the best of the 80s for sure.
Drawn out words and phrases like Sanc--tu---ary and Hooot Niiiight sometimes are so noticeable that take me out of the music. Usually that doesn't keep me from enjoying the songs.
Agree
I like this version too.
This is catchy with a good beat but again the chorus interrupts the flow for me.
Neither did I, and I think not many other people know that film. Her discography on wikipedia lists a bunch of other soundtrack songs that I've never heard.
I bought the soundtrack for this but i'm not sure if i've played it. Listening just now, I like the beat and guitar, although the chorus drags with the first hooot niiight. I know Sharpshooter from the Body Rock soundtrack, but I need to check out more of her other soundtrack songs.
Blue Cheese Irish Potato Chips
I might enjoy the album more with more plays, but this one hits just right and is one of my favorite songs of the 80s.
I only heard of her two years ago. I have her two first albums now and they're growing on me. Too bad her singles didn't get more attention in the US.
One of my favorite songs of all time, the production is whimsical and fun and just perfect.
