Thinking of retconning a few details from "A Bazaar Incident" & "Naria's Last Day". Basically some physical details of the 'Cosmic Hydra' to make it more distinctive/original rather than a straight Ghidorah riff. Also had a idea for the cosmic hydra's character.

The Mirror and Control Borg seem a little bland. I would have brought in some really strange Borg like maybe a D&D crossover to bring in the Oard and have them wielding strange energy with more elemental and magical abilities using magitech stuff they assimilated from a fantasy universe.

Multiverse stories really should go weird and do something with the idea of an alternate universe where reality might work a little differently.

Honestly this is one of my criticisms of the current Borg Multiversal War Arc in STO other than the Chimeran & Aetherian who are wonderfully distinct...

...didn't have a minor backstory bit about accidentally killing a classmate so he's slightly more reckless but otherwise everything is basically identical. There is really no reason to look into at universe as it's mostly the same. You basically have just a time travel story with extra steps.

What if X character went evil? What if this small event was different? It can be used for good character study but as you add more here they start to blur together. Oh in this universe the ships have a purplish hue and Worf...

Seeing a bit of ragging on the multiverse idea in fiction again. I don't think the problem is with multiverses per se but how they are used. Instead of a lot of wild and crazy new universes where stuff operates differently (e.g. Magic works here, Space is liquid, etc.) we often lazy alt timelines.

#StarTrekOnline have confirmed that next month, they'll be adding the Strange New Worlds ship we now know as the 'Damocles'.
