Like most drug discovery researchers, I’ve been watching the “peptides for everything” craze with a mixture of amusement and alarm:
Some nuts and a can of WD40
Strict rules don't stop someone who ignores them... I once found a sandwich in the bin of a cell culture lab.
10 min walk to the tube, 30 min wait to barely squeeze into a northern line train
"« la question n’est plus que climatique, elle touche désormais à l’intérêt national », fait valoir le premier ministre."
Il est là, le gros manque de compréhension... Ça a toujours été un problème d'intérêt national pour peu qu'on réfléchisse à long terme
What if the aim is to have only white people in the armed forces to better oppress the rest?
Lots of phosphorus in genes
As an insider, people outside of pharma don't realise how much work and science goes into ensuring drugs are (overall and within stated limits) safe to use. Regulations are strict (for good reason). IMO the main issue is the funding incentives (market size) to develop some drugs over others
What is also consistent is "NATO = them", as if the US hadn't been the biggest partner since the beginning
I read somewhere that superglue is a great thickener for sauces
Queen
Thanks Craig!
"Asian" in the UK tends to mean Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Sri Lankan
Le prix au litre (gallon) chez eux est très bas mais la conso de leurs moteurs et la taille des réservoirs, par contre...
I was only referring to my current employer. Others can be less risk-averse and regulations vary between countries too.
Fwiw I work for one such company and using LLMs for code that goes into medical devices/software is explicitly forbidden.
What do you mean "we won't let them negotiate"? You pretend to be advocating for Ukrainians (saying they should be independent from the west too) but you don't sound like you've spoken to any of them. What we haven't let them do is to defend themselves as they wish for 4+ years, by slow-dripping aid
They were quite reasonable until post-covid inflation hit.
Here you go: youtu.be/u78d6C9pFIo?... (ok it's not an hour long)
How nice of the UK to offer their crown jewels in replacement of the stolen ones
"Travail, famille, patrie" (the motto of the french state under Pétain) comes to mind
Unfortunately UK politicians aren't listening
First class in the morning, we were told to put our hands on Petri dishes with agar gel, before washing them (so straight off public transport). The results on the following day were rather memorable.
Stay away from our cables. Thank you.
It should be fairly common sense not to pick up any kind of grenade, smoking or not, unless you really know what you are doing.
The Telegraph at it again:
- missing CZ and SK on the map
- describing EU as an "empire"
- describing accession candidates as "areas for expansion"
Is the author in Moscow?
Judging from the article, delegating the actual work to someone competent does not seem to be his plan.
Haven't there been agreements (in 2020) to that effect already? These countries are sovereign, and just like they decided to get rid of french military presence, they can go with their own currencies if they decide to. Maybe I am naively missing something though.
