Last year I was up early on my birthday wondering if the stock market was going to pull a Black Friday (tariffs ).This year, will there be a live reenactment of Dr Strangelove. Next year can we just not.

After a whole hour of sleep I woke up cold and hungry. Yogurt and a brownie at 1am. Gonna try to get some sleep now. Wish me luck.

I saw this video once on MTV when my son was a newborn and had his nights and days mixed up. It was worth the sleep deprivation.

The Gulf gasoline station we went to was giving out paper models of the lunar lander. I had been playing with my gum and wasn’t able to take it from Joe and had to admit to my mom that my hands were stuck together 🤣. I still was able to build it after my Gran helped me get the gum off my hands.

Until it was full again. He really liked the cheese though, and kept making the journey every month and that’s why the moon cycles every twenty eight days.

When I was a kid I had an illustrated anthology of stories and my favorite was the story of the little mouse who heard the moon was made of green cheese and so snuck out every night to get some cheese until the moon went dark. When his mom found out she made him return the cheese night after night

I would call stuff thingies when I couldn’t remember the word. When my mom saw this scene on the afternoon movie, she said “now I know where you got it from” 🤣

I picked up some Zig Clean Color brush pens and some Zig Mangaka fineliners from JetPens and made this drawing. I really like how the brush pens blend and cover the line work without smearing and it is very satisfying to make the cross hatch and dot details with the fineliners.
