"I'm not really sure how to describe my character creation process.
A lot of my characters are characters made in games, so that's where their creation often starts. Often times I decide what their "main colors" are and make their first versions based on that.
At first they might use ingame clothes, but eventually I might start coming up with more unique outfits for them and the more I draw them, the more unique their features might become.
Creating characters from nothing is way slower progress for me. I have many OCs that don't have their first designs yet. And I haven't learned to habit of creating "moodboards" or anything like that when planning things. Sometimes the ideas just randomly come to my mind and I draw them, and the characters often end up keeping their first designs. Though, some could use some upgrade but I just don't have ideas how to change things, heh.."
Text next to the drawing: "Sanari here was first made in maplestory 2, and then the idea for their outfit came from ffxiv years later I should try this way more often maybe!"
