anyways, TROS is a fantastic movie. visually, it’s absolutely stunning. narratively, it’s exciting and has so much heart. it’s a story of hope & the power of family. is it perfect? no; but none of the movies are. it’s still incredible, heartwarming, and a joy to watch. #starwars

it’s a good movie but you don’t have to worship the ground rian johnson walks on and wail on JJ abrams 24/7 because two characters touched hands and you misinterpreted their dynamic as being romantic when in canon it was never being portrayed or written that way.

I enjoy TLJ, but why is it always a certain toxic shipping community going on and on everywhere about how it’s the “perfect” movie (and how TROS destroyed their lives forever)? TLJ is far from perfect; there’s nothing wrong with that either.

I hate this take. No, The Rise of Skywalker is not my favourite movie, but it does have redeemable qualities. People need to stop pretending it murdered their goldfish or something.
