Honestly, just happy it’s Friday and it is my LAST library instruction class for the semester.
I love our students but also I’m tired.
My oldest niece has learned that I, the single, childless aunt with disposable income, am the the one to ask to buy her whatever overhyped, overpriced water bottle she wants for Christmas.
Nothing but admiration as I immediately click “add to cart”.
At the risk of reading too much into Bluesky’s success at the moment, I do think it’s a signal that people don’t want to be surrounded by bots and manipulated algorithms
