I am led to understand that 1: Chronicles 1-9 is nine whole chapters of this

Any of the ones that go “x begat y, and then y begat z” and so on for pages and pages, because he’d either fall asleep or go off on a wild tangent (even more so than usual)

You acknowledged that your opinion was irritating, but I’m pretentious when I try to rationalise why others might find it irritating 🤷‍♂️

It’s not that I care deeply, but I do understand people being surprised, and even disappointed, that the number is so high. If you could prove to me that Dinosaur Ambivalents all had a rich life of other interests then fair enough, but I don’t think it’s that, and that’s kind of sad

If you were a kid so heavily into trains or space or whatever, then fine, maybe dinosaurs passed you by… but 39% in that poll is surprising

I think it’s that I assume everyone must, surely, have had a favourite dinosaur as a kid, and the ones who say they don’t have a favourite now are trying too hard to leave childish things behind. Like people who think videogames or cartoons are just for kids.

Dammit, thought we could solve one of the great unknowns of the internet

Discussion with chatgpt where it generates what it sees based on a non existing picture. It offers to annotate the picture and then generates some picture that has nothing to do with anything.

it finally happened
it finally happened YouTube video by Alanah Pearce

NEW VIDEO! All about the start of the AI bubble pop, and what a colossal waste of money all of this is. Hundreds of millions of dollars wasted to generate videos of Jake Paul putting makeup on.

I’d love some creation recommendations, because my approach to mods on Bethesda game is install far too many, faff around for an hour, realise it’s too far removed from the game I like, give up

I was making a joke about how you can get away with this now that no one’s looking, because of the new game, but this was made in 2022!

My daughter recovered from a mild fever and sore throat.

Important context- last year she had 2 bouts of pancreatitis that started with a fever, and led to several months in hospital and a cholecystectomy. This was the first time since then that she’s had a chance to get ill and recover normally.

The only post-80s novelty song I can think of that gets a pass is the Animaniacs “every country” song. Banger, would listen repeatedly. Tom Lehrer’s “Elements” walked so that Animaniacs could run

I’m with you on novelty songs being far more annoying than regular ones. I’d nominate the album Bad News, by the band Bad News, which was actually the cast of The Young Ones pretending to be a rock/hair metal band. Kind of funny literally once; terrible on repeat

I’m mystified that everyone’s picking normal, relatively popular songs, and not weird short hidden tracks, or genres that aren’t intended for sober listening. I’d go crazy if subjected to Beans by Nirvana or You Always Sing by RHCP on repeat, or literally anything classed as “happy hardcore”
