🚨NEW EPISODE:
Cetta & Daniel of @maltamigrationarchive.org tell us about exposing:
• the Maltese government's refusal to save refugee lives
• how it ignores civilian rescuers
• pressurises commercial ships not to rescue
• and how it organises pushbacks with the Libyan coastguards.
An honour to present the Archive at Malta Refugee Council's event ‘Protection Begins at Sea’ with others!
Fantastic to see participants remind Malta's Migration Ambassador that distress calls are always a matter of life and death. Fundamental rights are not 'pull factors' and are non-negotiable.

"The Malta Migration Archive represents an unprecedented attempt to document and expose what organisers describe as state-sanctioned violence against some of the world’s most vulnerable people."
Thank you Newsbook Malta for covering our event!
