Let’s help Trinny keep her home! If 19 more people each give $25, we can help give her some peace of mind
Such a little thing, but I’m so grateful to not be working Saturday morning shifts anymore. Saturdays are for being a little hungover, walking to the grocery store, house music, cleaning the kitchen, making breakfast. NOT for clocking into some bullshit

why is this unpopular? THEY'RE RIGHT 😤
Not your mom, not your girlfriend, not your wife.
A PROFESSIONAL. Go to therapy and get the help you really need.
It really does start with us. Years and years of conditioning and patriarchy have taught men that any type of introspection and vulnerability is SOFT which is why so many of us hold our struggles internally instead of seeking REAL help.
Black men need to decenter patriarchy in order to fully embark on their mental health journey. Vulnerability and accountability are the antithesis of patriarchy, and you won’t be able to progress emotionally if you’re not able to be 1) soft and 2) look at that man in the mirror.
CALL. THAT. LADY.
Again. SALLIE MAE IS RIGHT THERE. AND EQUIFAX. AND EXPERIAN.
"What's the first thing they teach you about guns? Always assume they are loaded even if you know it's not. You can't tell if a gun is loaded just by looking at it.
Same with women. They can't tell if a man is going to explode on her just by looking at him so she must treat every man as if he is"

I get that social media ain’t real life to a lot of folks. But it is a place where people being open enough to share their real life experiences which can be used to create lessons we take into our lives.
That is how community should work. It can’t just be the jokes, sports, and music.
It is even worse because as a Black woman I was taught to protect Black men but I challenged my parents by saying what if I am the victim.. why do I need to continue to protect him?

When ppl speak on femicide, particularly black femicide, it is not something to take very personally.
Femicide is a global systemic issue that isn’t necessarily particular to one culture. But like many yt ppl, some men can’t help to make it into a personal attack.
Help a moot out! If 14 more people give $20 each, we can help Sean out. Electric bills have been kicking all our asses so definitely help if you can
Welp, it was good while it lasted. Fuck the New York Times.
Black women deserve better than what they get from society
Idk why folks eem take offense to black women speaking on their experiences with men.
If anything, it should make you want to start holding ya folks accountable and beating niggas’ asses when you see some bullshit.
It's the only thing I will always do. I don't need much, but I'm not working on my birthday.
Wild to me that they haven’t done a project together after this
