Drs. Shaw and Siegal received the Early-Career and Best Paper awards from the Canadian Society of Hematology 🏆
Dr. Shaw’s work on TGA and Dr. Siegal’s on the Stratus trial have been transformative ! Congrats!
Measurement of DOACs is challenging. Although the level can influence outcomes, there is no data on dose adjustments.
Dr. Siegal also reminded us that standard coagulation tests can provide qualitative assessment but may miss “on-treatment” levels.
