Check out my classroom door for the door decoration contest. My students did most of the work, I put up the background and printed off the book covers. Shout out to some of my favorite MG books!

Same! It’s usually easy, and today’s was the hardest ever!

Check out this wonderful opportunity for an author to meet with your class for World Read Aloud Day! I've been able to connect my students with many wonderful authors and students benefit immensely. Thank you again to the authors and Kate Messner for organizing and sharing your time with students!

My students love reading novels in verse. I will definitely use the "epic album you read the lyrics to" when selling NIV to students.

Excellent question! I like when chapters have titles, especially creative titles, but it’s fine if they don’t. For the kids, if they want to go back and reread a certain part, chapter titles are definitely helpful.
