🎬 The arts aren’t a luxury - they’re an export.

At #Lab25, @aiannucci.bsky.social reminds us that the UK’s Creative Industries make up 6% of our economy and 7% of our workforce - the GDP equivalent of oil + car industries combined.

We are thrilled to be joining other fantastic arts companies as a Creative Scotland Multi-Year funded organisation. A huge and much-needed boost to the breadth and stability of our programme and the thousands of young people we work with, as well as recognition of the work and talent of our team.

Genuinely one of my favourite things we've produced over the years. Really innovative with a live zoom audience interacting with the actors every night and streamed live to thousands, while dealing with all of the restrictions of lockdown. Nothing else like it in the UK. Good/bad times!
