I am not leaving the lounge until five minutes before boarding, because I always think I need to leave earlier than that and then end up staring at the gate for 15 minutes while waiting on boarding to start.
Extremely productive two weeks of time off between jobs. Kind of excited to get back at it.
I have sung every piece of music I’ve e ever dreamed of singing mostly… except the choral adaptation of adagio for strings.

If last-minute flights weren’t so insanely expensive, I’d be booking a ticket to SLC right now for an overnight trip just to see Ballet West do West Side Story.
It’s just a Stephen Sondheim sort of night and I’m gonna transition into a Leonard Bernstein evening really soon.
If you’re in SLC you should absolutely go see this.
Omg ballet west is doing west side story and the dancers can sing and it’s going to be unbelievable.

Well... except for the massive stone installation I'm giving myself for my birthday in 2028 for the fireplace.
The living room will be done in a couple of weeks. New sofa and chairs come in two weeks. Curtains get installed the day after that. All I have to do now is source a small drink table for between the chairs and a nice floor/reading lamp for next to one of the chairs.
New work laptop comes today, so I'll be sitting next to the door patiently waiting to sign for the delivery so that UPS doesn't give me 2 seconds to get downstairs from my office before giving up on me.

Okay I went on a tear and got some books to read for the rest of staycation and while I’m in New York next week.
Now I want to try buldak sauce on nachos.
It’s like buldak sauce was made specifically to work with cheese.
I know that buldak ramen with cheese is a thing you fucking nerds. But Popeyes Mac and Cheese with Buldak sauce ain’t that.
I tried buldak macaroni and cheese so you wouldn’t have to. It’s fire.
I have to go back to dissociating, but while I'm still lucid, it's infuriating that there's basically 90% of Americans who are like, "That's just Uncle Donald. He just says things. You kind of have to not listen to him."
