Hey everyone, as you may or may not know, I have a book coming out in June.
Kirkus gave it a really good review, AND it’s going to be in the April print edition! My publisher tells me this is a big deal since they only feature a small number of indies in the print edition, so I am excite!

The fun thing about running a political campaign while also trying to get people excited about your new book that was planned long before the political campaign is that there aren’t enough hours in the day!
Anyways, I wrote another book, it’s awesome, please clap.
This was such a fun conversation with @shaunduke.net and @skiffyandfanty.com ! Check it out and A PHILOSOPHY OF THIEVES too, before they escape!
It’s my birthday! Preorder my book! It’s really good!
Ha! Thanks, Fran! (And thank you for reminding me I have a Bluesky account. 😂)
I’m going to need HBO to give us year-round Carrie Coon programming.
Luna and I have received a most excellent box in the mail from @erewhonbooks.bsky.social

Help us unbox it!

Then head to the bio 🔗 & preorder your copy of A PHILOSOPHY OF THIEVES, mark it as want-to-read everywhere, and generally help the Canarvier family succeed. (A good heist takes a village!)
The Loudness also resonated with two of my most passionate beliefs: 1) Music can save lives (see “thread of hope” above) and 2) Libraries are the best sanctuaries (In fact, this book features not one, but two libraries fulfilling that role).
It’s definitely a fave.
I read @nickcourage.bsky.social ‘s first novel, The Loudness, TEN years ago today! I *love* this book & was impressed by how credible Nick’s dystopian society felt YET even when there were terrible things happening (or that had happened) there was always a powerful thread of hope to hold onto.
Okay it may seem bad that Meta appropriated the entirety of the written word without compensating or even consulting with any writers, but consider what the world got out of it: a thing you accidentally tap in Instagram
Still seeing lots of folks attributing the beloved Libby app to IMLS — and demonstrating little awareness of Libby’s not-so-great business model:
Up next. Am I ready? 😬
I find "listen to the women" excellent advice in this specific case and... in life in general. ♀️

There are no words in the English language sufficient to describe how heartburstingly angry I am at the 8 traitors who just sold us all down the river.
It is our job as Americans to make sure they can NEVER appear in public life EVER again.
Die wretched and alone, unloved by your country.
I went shopping after this morning’s thing.
How the worm has turned.
(I'll see myself out.)

Thank you! I’m excited to read it!
I own one piece of signed sports memorabilia & it’s a @chriswarcraft.bsky.social card.
(I also own some of his books— all of which I highly recommend— signed which, you know, is a bit more on brand for me).
Bravo, my goodman.
Since I’ve been getting this a lot - if you feel like supporting me by buying a jersey or something, I would rather you make a donation to Trans Lifeline or The Trevor Project

The two times I’ve been most jealous of other creatives is imagining when the writer for Succession came up with “you can’t make a Tomlette without breaking some Gregs” and when Kendrick Lamar came up with “you’re trying to strike a chord and it’s probably A minor.”
Thank you! Cool! I saw her in Cleveland & LA.
It’s been a year (tomorrow) since my friend V & I saw our first Celebration show (& my 33rd Madonna show) & I’m just now going through all of the photos I took song by song. “Bad Girl” was a song I’d always wanted to see live so it was a treat seeing her perform it with her daughter on piano.
I went to grab the new Klune, and somehow these other books just leapt into my basket. Wild!
Ha, thanks!
And how did you spend your vacation days, Ryan?
I built five new bookcases (three pictured). Then I threw my back out… brushing my teeth.
