Last year was a mast year in the New Forest and there were loads of acorns and now we are seeing lots of little oak tree seedlings. It’s very exciting.

I was in the UK last weekend on the @schnauzerfest.bsky.social stall at All About Dogs. I love all dogs, schnauzers of course, but I very nearly adopted a staffie back in 2011 when Susie-Belle popped into my life. LOVE them & was very happy to meet many last weekend. We don’t see many here 🇫🇷
At Lowri's recent 3 month post-cataract operation check up she got a glowing report. Her family say,
"Please thank everyone one on Lowri’s and our behalf for supporting her and all the other little schnauzers that Schnauzerfest supports"

Hugo here, I’m a black and silver miniature schnauzer, living my best life. Here I am stood on a log on my after work walk in the New Forest. I’m looking up at the camera, mouth open, tongue on show. Another great walk was had this afternoon, sun was out, there was a healthy breeze and I did lots of running and sniffing. Good times pals, good times.

Sweet, shy Ember’s visit to the ophthalmologist went well & showed the uveitis is much better following the last few weeks of treatment. Her eyes are complex, she has limited vision and is a long term foster dog with all costs supported by a Schnauzerfest Grant, which you make possible 🧡

A few weeks on from eye removal and Carlo’s doing brilliantly. He’s adjusting to the change and back to enjoying walks with his sister Molly 🧡
Thank you for helping this very special chap, before his adoption his life was terrible in the breeding industry. Now it is full of love and kindness.
We have an amazing auction coming up of original art, limited edition prints, signed by the artist. Annabel’s art features in books, much of our merchandise, our Christmas cards and is always hugely popular. This will be a rare chance to obtain signed prints. Details will be released next week 😊

Hugo, the miniature schnauzer is running through the forest, red ball in mouth, probably being bribed to return it with the promise of a treat. Hugo’s ability to keep up his interest in a ball is somewhat limited. There are trees in the background and fallen leaves on the ground with the green shoots of Spring appearing. This picture was taken yesterday in the New Forest. Today we went to Rockford Sandpit, but didn’t take many pictures. Afterwards we went to a cafe and Hugo had a snossidge! He’s snoozing now.

'Tis me, #SiggySchnauzer, in the "Medium Wood over the road and another road". I'd been truffling for a furjazzle and picked up this cutie 🍂 We found some Common Dog Violets (the mystery flowers I found elsewhere the other day, which have now been confirmed!), anemone nemorosa (wood anemone = white) and Lesser Celandine (pilewort = yellow)... as well as LOTS of bluebells!
