I’ve started adding wood chips and a layer of compost to the hügelkultur beds! They’re almost ready for planting!

I’ve finally finished building up the woody debris for my hügelkultur bed. Now I’m adding the wood chips, soil layer then compost! Should be ready to plant in before the end of the month! ☺️🌱

Finally had a warmer day to work on breaking down branches and build up a hügelkultur bed…I’m really excited to see how tall I can get this and to build up the soil.

I’m really excited to have the beginning steps of a Food Forest. I took down two Norway maple trees, to bring in more light. Now putting branches down on cardboard to create hügelkultur raised beds
