We weren’t directly involved in the making of THE BRUTALIST, but the filmmakers drew upon our resources in their VERY thorough research.

There were a few historical inaccuracies, of course— it’s a biopic, we know how it goes! But overall, it captured László’s unique spirit!

DID YOU KNOW:

The real-life Lydia Tár conducted a symphony orchestra at the opening of László Tóth’s community center in Budapest?

In fact, Tár’s family originated in a village just a few miles from Tóth’s own birthplace on the Adriatic!
