Is there a more mentally fragile sporting institution in Australia than the Melbourne Stars?

Against the tall and strong Hawthorn midfield, I’d be finding a spot for Setterfield over Hobbs this week.
I’d take one of them now. Odds on, unfortunately, that someone will get a season ending injury during the first 10 - 12 rounds and then open up a mid season draft slot
Absolutely it did. Loved reading a considered and sensible take on where the club is at.
Gee this was a great read. Well done.
That’s f..kn hilarious you c..t Rohan
Jones in for Cox

Does anyone know if Jayden Dave’s is playing anywhere in 2025?
Any reports on how Kayle Gerreyn is looking?
Wonder if it is possible to somehow inject some of the Sydney Sixers never give up/ find a way to win DNA into the Melbourne Stars?
Melbourne Stars- the most emotionally fragile sporting franchise in this country.
I do that all the time 🤭
I like Kaine Baldwin as a player and I would have no problem if he gets the last train on spot on our list. But every time I saw Will Hoare play this year I was really impressed. At 198cm I’m thinking he might be the better option.
Not at all. Excellent and innovative list management by Rosa and his team.
Appears all selected in the draft had specific football qualities and not just athletic abilities. Now up to development coaches to refine their skills.
I reckon Rosa and Co. Have done really well. Well placed also for the ‘25 draft.
I know every draft pick looks to be something ‘special’ and a real ‘how did other clubs miss this kid’ bargain - but gee the vision of Gerreyn looks good! 👌
Who do you predict we take?
Yes, if the right player was available. Preferably a 195 plus cm key forward.
Saw him play his one VFL game. Looked a likely type.
How about Jayden Davey? Any chance he might come back on as a rookie?
