The Lib Dem group in the House of Lords is now on Bluesky! Please give @libdempeers.bsky.social a follow, and I've updated my starter pack of Lib Dems on here too: go.bsky.app/CUxDzcc
Hey, don't do down the power of your Bluesky account Ben!
Congrats @alanrenwick.bsky.social!
Yes indeed. Terry Pratchett turned the idea into a funny, biting piece of literature. I turned it into a banal purchasing decision.
(I have not yet, however, been able to extend this logic to my shoes.)
"Spend more on socks as soon as you can afford to" is my banal version of this.
Excellent piece. I obviously have a view or two on the comments about the Lib Dems :) But an excellent piece well worth a read.
Thanks!
The time they are taking is a disgrace.
BBC today correct Nigel Farage's false claim to Nick Robinson on Political Thinking (13th February 2026) that net migration was only down due to an "exodus" of people leaving the UK since 90% of net migration fall was a fall in immigration. After my 3rd complaint!

Updated list of councillors Reform has lost: www.markpack.org.uk/175342/how-m...
Lib Dem change is likely in large part reversion from an outlier figure before. But falling Reform figure is a trend seen across many polls.
Just the thing for a bit of weekend listening.
Nigel Farage's latest aping of Trump politics - promoting a crypto business which he himself has invested in.
MPs must be banned from promoting financial products in this way.
US election posters outside someone's house.
I seem to have taken a wrong turn in my campaigning today.
You may think Redford Hoffman and Nixon when you hear 'All the President's Men'. I think 'Indianna Jones' for the reasons explained in the podcast...
I have a new epitath :)
Thank you, will take a look.
No10’s account is incredible.
I held Developed Vetting for nearly ten years and spent three years at the heart of the Cabinet Office. I have never heard of a Developed Vetting denial being overruled. Here’s why…🧵

There is a pattern here. Both Chris Wormald and Olly Robbins appointed by this Government. Both sacked by press release when Starmer under pressure. Robbins may have approved Mandelson but it’s not credible that he acted alone w/o instruction from No10.
