I've only just started, so I'm guessing, but I'm pretty sure Skyward by Brand(ers)on Sanderson is a fantastic book if you wanted to enjoy Fourth Wing but couldn't manage to turn your brain off enough. Instead of 'girl meets dragon,' it's 'girl meets starship' and no bullshit shadow daddy. #booksky
Middling month for reading. Only 6 books. Only. XD I finished the Age of Madness, watched husband start First Law, and discovered Lazlo Strange. That's a good fudging month for reading right there! #booksky
The themes of loss and grief, of resentment and vengeance, forgiveness and love resonated hard. Like, i need to break the rating system, 5 stars isn't enough.
Muse of Nightmares, the second part of the Strange the Dreamer duology, was an incredible end to an amazing story. I always thought people who say books *changed them* were exaggerating. Uh, i daresay these books are that for me. Incredible. #booksky
I think that Strange the Dreamer ruined my ability to give other books 5 stars. It was one of the best books I've ever read in my life. So unique, interesting, cool, and emotional. The imagery and chemistry were so good. A+ book. HIGHLY recommend. #booksky
Shoulder mount flares!
I finished the Age of Madness trilogy today. I'm going to need a minute. #booksky

I read the second half of 11-22-63 by Stephen King yesterday. Excellent book, A+ no complaints.

Working on handspring to pencil back to handspring. I'll get there.
I met Yuna! And Tom Servo! What a cool guy!
Joe Abercrombie is so good at laying bare the nihilistic essence of war, how no one wins and everyone suffers, the dead least of all. I'm gonna need a minute.
The 2nd Age of Madness book had some of the most visceral violence that I've read in a long time. The entire 50 page battle scene was intense. It wasn't even boring like most flight scenes, i was riveted and now I'm rather shook up. Good stuff. Intense. I'm dying for the finale of the trilogy.

I saved my chemistry goggles for this purpose! :D
Eighty pages in and it's already one of my favorite reads of the year.
Pride and Prejudice has one, too.
Well this might be the perfect night. Cat lap and new exciting fantasy. #booksky
This is my favorite combo so far. Invert into ankle split, crucifix ayesha, extended butterfly
