It was still there today. The artist is Elvis Jr. It took all of my willpower to resist.

As a Leaf fan, getting the disappointment out of the way early freed up a lot of my time.
The record cover sitting in a thrift store bin has a line drawing of an Elvis impersonator doing his thing as well as with a live cheetah draped around his shoulders.
Lionel Hutz calling his sponsor on a pay phone saying "Hello, silly fucking record covers anonymous? I'm really tempted."
A schoolgirl named Delilah having turned into a Stoner Sloth; a full-body puppet tree sloth bearing the traits of a teenager under the influence of cannabis
A Stoner Sloth named Dave looking dead inside at a party while his friends include him in a selfie
A Stoner Sloth named Jason at his family's dinner table, passing the salad when asked to pass the salt
Stoner Sloth
NSW Government
2015
The New South Wales government, without consulting the NCPIC, tried to shame the youth out of smoking pot with a moaning sloth, portrayed as a loser for getting high. The campaign backfired; it was universally ridiculed and drove traffic to a namesake pro-weed site.
This is amazing. Thank you.

The LP cover of Murder Ballads by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.
Perhaps not the healthiest songs to have stuck in one's head, yet here we are.

It would seem I'm good luck.
Ralph Wiggum spinning in a hairdresser chair shouting "Whee! I'm a computer hacker."

The Leafs 2025/26 season is over
I may be getting a little teary eyed here.
Someone tell George RR Martin to quit watching hockey and get back to writing The Winds of Winter.
Joe God Damned Bowen. Legend.
#LeafsForever announcer is a god damned legend and I will fight any man, woman, or child significantly smaller and weaker than me who says otherwise (no biting).
He deserved a better final season than this.
I'll be tuning in to listen to Joe Bowen call his final Maple Leaf game tomorrow night. He and Jim Ralph could take the dullest match and make it feel like you were listening with friends who were three drinks ahead of you. Try as you might, you couldn't catch up.

Hell yeah Joe Bowen. What a legend.
The LP cover of Magnetic South by Michael Nesmith & The First National Band.
The most unexpected thrift store find last week ... a well crafted country rock album with cult status from a former Monkee.

this right here; we just want to go see a movie, not install and update software. We want to walk up to the box office, hand them money, get ticket, sit down, watch movie. They added fifteen layers of nonsense between my eyeballs and the movie, for no reason at all.
*bought this
Nice. I almost bought at my local record store the other day but I went with Man Machine Poem by The Hip.
The LP cover of the K-tel Souled Out compilation.
The tracklist.
You may mock K-tel Records all you wish but they introduced a lot of people - especially rural and suburban kids - to a lot of music they wouldn't have otherwise heard.

Pretty much. I'm just looking for three or four fellow nerds to appreciate whatever album I'm listening to.
The LP cover of Never Let Me Down by David Bowie.
Despite the opinions of critics - and eventually the man himself - this is one of my favourite Bowie albums.
