Finally got my hands on physical copies of IT’S A HORROR SHOW: THE FOUND FOOTAGE ANTHOLOGY.

It's a super cool comic book horror anthology, that includes a twisted tale of vampire romance written by me! With A+ art by @lorryjamison.bsky.social.

PIZZA MOVIE on Hulu is hilarious and a ridiculous amount of fun. Gaten Matarazzo and Sean Giambrone are comedic gold together - and even better when paired with the excellent Lulu Wilson. Weird, wild, and delightfully absurdist, this is one of the funniest teen comedies in a long time.

Re-watched FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY. Such a great little movie. Then again, I am in the specific intersection of huge pro-wrestling fan and huge fan of the comedic stylings of Stephen Merchant. So of course this movie really works for me. Love all the performances - and so much heart to boot.

Finally started the new MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE episodes. Malcolm is one of my all-time favorite sitcoms, so it was extremely surreal to be back in this world after decades away.

There is a lot to take in. But the first episode has such a great, funny twist at the end that it left me eager for more.

Wow, what an episode of #AEWDynamite tonight. I was extremely skeptical about hotshotting a Darby title win, but they packed in about a month’s worth of storytelling into two hours tonight and built this match up
to fever pitch levels of hype. Absolute cinema and one of the best Dynamites ever.

The Disney layoffs are emblematic of an industry that has gone off the rails, and badly needs regulation before everything is owned by 2-3 tech-based mega-corporations and is in freefall mode. Disney is hugely successful and made 12.4 BILLION in profit in 2025. They should be giving everyone raises.

Just watched THE FALL AND RISE OF REGGIE DINKINS finale. I will say again: this show is absolutely hilarious!

It's got the same sort of brilliant, whip-smart writing and rapid-fire jokes as 30 Rock.

And Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe are an unlikely but amazing comedic duo.

Bring on S2!

And the people who are participating in this and cashing in on false job titles should be ashamed. I understand everyone is hustling out here, but stop taking people's money under false pretenses!

I work at Universal Pictures so I can easily look people - and their job titles - up in the company directory. And again and again, I continue to see people getting passed off by screenwriting companies as development execs who are ... not. Writers have enough to worry about. Stop trying to scam us!

Man, MJF vs. Omega was awesome. Two of my all-time favorites, and two of the best in-ring storytellers ever. Was hanging on every move.

A very, very heel-leaning PPV tonight (a bit baffled, in particular, that Copeland and Cage lost?), but overall a fantastic show. #AEWDynasty

Got to see an early screening of Steven Soderbergh’s latest movie, THE CHRISTOPHERS. Soderbergh continues his streak of fantastic films with this one. And the movie features an incredible lead performance from Sir Ian McKellan to boot. Michaela Coel, too, is excellent. Check it out if you can.

Wow, new Firestorm #1, written by Jeff Lemire, was very intriguing and surprised me with its direction. Shades of Alan Moore and Miracleman - very curious where it goes from here. My only hope is that DC doesn’t forget / give up on the Jason Rusch character, whose series I loved back in the day.

Re-watched the great 2015 film MR. HOLMES.

Man, the acting of Sir Ian McKellan in this one, playing an aged Sherlock Holmes attempting to solve one final mystery, is absolutely god-tier. Should have been Oscar-nominated.

Love this movie.

See how this works? When you find out that someone has behaved poorly and in a way that's indefensible, you condemn, disavow, and move on from them. It's a shame when it hurts and reflects poorly on your chosen party - but so it goes.

What an insane story. And what a strange world the Trumps exist in.

For those lulled into thinking they can ignore the craziness and just have faith that the insititutions will hold & sanity will prevail ...

... May I remind you of the COVID outbreak, during which countless Americans got sick or died because of his recklessness. W/lasting consequences to this day.

Thinking of all the people who tried to make the point that all of this was for the benefit of the Iranian people ...

There are no benefits when you're dealing with a madman.

Major congrats to @allenyorkwu.bsky.social for his fantastic short story in the new issue of Oni's CRUEL UNIVERSE anthology series. Drawn by David Lapham, no less!

Somehow I'd missed that Oni is doing all these EC Comics horror/sci-fi anthology revival series. Catching up and loving all of 'em.

Either you understand that America can't have a president who gives a bloodthirsty speech about war crimes he wants to commit while standing next to the Easter Bunny and addressing 50+ children or you don't

Those are the two types of people on Earth—sorry, I don't make the rules

Producer Ben presenting guest Tracy Letts with special-edition discs of Ace Ventura, Spawn, and Trash Humpers on the new episode of BLANK CHECK is one of the funniest things I've heard on a podcast in a long time.

THE DRAMA is pretty incredible.

Pattinson and Zendaya are in top form here. And Kristoffer Borgli really establishes himself as a talent to watch.

The script walks a high-anxiety, twisty tightrope while also being darkly funny and entertaining.

In our theater there were big laughs and loud gasps.

Are Republicans and the media going to ignore this, or are they going to state and admit the
obvious: that Trump is a demented, downward-spiraling sociopath who needs to be removed from office immediately for the sake of the world?

Jack Black and Jack White being on SNL together tonight was something the world really needed. The lords of rock n’ roll have smiled upon us this night.

Also, Ben Platt's rendition of "The Schmuel Song" (a funny old-country Jewish parable meant to motivate) was pretty awesome.

Got to see THE LAST FIVE YEARS 25th Anniversary Show tonight at the Hollywood Bowl - starring Rachel Zegler and Ben Platt. Both were great, but Zegler delivered an absolutely superstar performance that tore the house down. A fun show - felt like a special experience to be there live for this.
