A year ago I played with exposures to see if the switch to LED lights in Ōtepoti Dunedin had made it more possible to see the Milky Way above the city lights...

A bit of exposure tomfuckery & sure enough, in August our galaxy appears horizontal & low to the horizon.

I went for a day trip with Ferg Campbell to the Starth Taieri, we knew it was cold, but was treated with fog & a hoar frost down in the valley. Ferg shot the grain silos, I went for a wide angle tussock & grain silo composition. He might be right, it might be a little too busy - but I couldn't resist
