Must have been a quiet week for the supporters club.

Mr Roy and Ollie Beak always had a few surprises in store.
20% of that Huddersfield 15 went on to wear the primrose and blue.
After their match against Warrington, the 1952 Kangaroo tourists were entertained at the Masonic Hall. The following day they were taken to Morecambe to see the illuminations. #sportingheritage #rugbyleague
Props to whoever is in charge of the music at @yourlivewire.bsky.social Orford Jubilee gym today for giving us a bit of Coati Mundi followed by Papa’s Got a Brand New Pigbag.
Friday was an excellent start. Hope springs eternal.
I was at Central Park for Wigan v Manly and OT for Widnes v Canberra, both great occasions. But, being a Wire fan, I just keep hoping that sooner or later it actually will be our year.
Come on Eileen
One day 😀
Do you know its whereabouts? It was sadly missing from the table of trophies at the HJ over the weekend.
Spent a lovely couple of days this weekend listening to people’s memories and stories of the Wire. Perfect way to kick off the 150th celebrations.
I saw them at Sheffield on that tour. Lotus Eaters won hands down for me that night.
I dreamt last night that Wire had been drawn against Bramley in the third round of the cup. I was all geared up for a rare trip to McLaren Field and quite disappointed to wake up and realise it wasn’t going to happen.
I saw him at Sheffield Poly on 1 November. I’m relieved to see there was no support that night - I was briefly worried I might have missed Prefab Sprout due to staying in the pub! Also just noticed that Caron Wheeler was on backing vocals.
I’ve said it before and I’ll no doubt say it again but there is no finer version of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” than Tracey’s

I can’t help thinking the major difference between Anthony Sullivan and James Roby is “and union”
Andy Gregory’s best game for the Wire?
Andy Gregory/Mark Roberts masterclass.
Lindsey Hooker, second only to Tyldesley’s Frank Fullback in the list of most appropriately named players.
Could you explain the reason for the disparity in the coverage of the two England v Australia rugby internationals in the paper? 3 pages of union vs about a third of a page of league.
I picked up a copy to check out your coverage of the rugby league test match at Wembley and this was it. You can rest assured that I won’t be bothering again.
Buxton!
Felt like a proper old school nickname did the Choughs. Sad to see it consigned to history.
I’m guessing that this might be the old course at Walton Hall Gardens where I spent my formative miniature golf years.
Just watched two amazing games of rugby league - Leeds v St Helens (never seen an end like that) and Broncos v Panthers in Australia. As someone who loves most sports, I’m coming to the conclusion this is the best in the world.
Happy birthday!
In a combined 100 years plus supporting Lancs and Wire it’s still the only championship win I’ve known.
