Don’t think I’ll ever understand how football fans get so worked up by a game. Such visceral reactions to a result that you have no part in accept as spectator. I’ve never been able to buy into being a fan of any sports club, and it feels bizarre to really not care about something so many people do.

I don’t know why it happens but every March work goes really quiet before going mad in April and staying mad for the rest of the year. And whilst I should enjoy the downtime I’m not a fan of not being busy. So if anyone is looking for video content in March then give me a holler!

Welcome to Bluesky, we have rules here:

1. Take me for what I am
2. Who I was meant to be

And if you give a damn;

3. Take me, baby, or leave me

Question: if they can see this detail on a planet so far away, why can’t the same telescopes see, for example, Mars in microscopic detail from Earth?

Albie finished his last nativity performance tonight, so proud of him. Theatre was always going to be something we encouraged but never forced, but he’s really loved it and he’s now asking about joining a drama group.

Then to get this message from his teacher, heart is bursting with pride.

My wife’s birthday is also in Dec, so last night I played a game with her and the kids where I asked questions and had to guess their answers. Made one of the questions ‘what do you hope Santa will bring you’ and got a great list from wifey. 🤣

What kind of psycho puts their presents under the tree before Christmas Day anyway? Have a sneaking feeling it only happens in films.

If you’re looking for a podcast, I can wholeheartedly recommend Strangers on a Bench by @tomrosenthal.bsky.social. I’ve just done the first 3 eps and it’s a gorgeously made thing of beauty. Real conversations with real people, heart rending honesty and beautiful music. I love it so much.

Got about 10 questions right on #universitychallenge. Admittedly mostly theatre Qs but not all, best I’ve ever done by far.

My boy wrote a story about a time travelling T Rex for BBC 500 Words and it’s great. I’d love to get it printed into a picture book, does anywhere on here know a good place/site to do that? One quoted £60 and I reckon there must be cheaper options.
