Just after Christmas Tom English criticised Celtic for lack of academy players v St Johnstone. He'll have a field day with this. A director suggesting purchasing a 37 year old😲. Of course, he'll need get permission from his Media Relations in G51 first.

God. If those ships use the Panama Canal they could surround The USA too. But then again, how can they surround Canada if I has a 4000 mile land border with the US?

We appear to prefer wearing teams down than breaking through with pace. That said, the more patient approach seems to be working better in Europe - but (generally) Spfl teams are not European quality so should we treat them as though they are?

Celtic played reasonably well against a St Mirren side which is robust & well organised but we appeared too risk averse. Several times Idah was looking for the ball over the top or Maeda was open crossfield and we played the % ball. Trust the players? Did they trust themselves? 3 points so all good.

Watching the darts. Littler is a phenomenon. Looking at the crowd though it's a bit like watching a Reform Party Rally in terms of ethnicity. And that Yaya/Kolo Toure song - get some new material guys.

Imagine outing yourself as Mad Pedro's script writer after getting away with it for so long.

No one can say the SPFL/SFA don't react to feedback. Two weeks after a manager complains re VAR and refs with an affiliation to other clubs, that manager now trusts the process. Credit where it is due.

If he signed a pre-contract with us at around £35k p/w AND Arsenal loaned him to us paying £35k p/w towards his salary - a great deal. Any more - until his fitness is proven - no thanks.

Reminds me of the Walter Smith dogwhistle at Swinecastle where he spat out the name of "Mr MURPHY". We all knew the subtext then and we still know it now.

Saw someone elsewhere say that they felt something was missing from Christmas. I agree. We've become too Americanised with Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve boxes, matching family pj's. Someone even cited today as Christmas Eve Eve. Next stage is Happy Holidays. At that point we've lost.

£35k is certainly payable for a fully fit, able to play every week KT, whether loan or permanent and who would certainly be first choice LB. However, his fitness is - at best - uncertain, and unfit he will not be on the bench but still on £35k.

He's reputedly on £110k a week at Arsenal. Even if they paid 2/3 of that we'd be in for over £35k p/w for a play who may not even reach the bench. He'll go to a mid-table EPL club I reckon

Chick Young on Rev. Mike McCurry "Are you impugning his integrity? He's a man of the cloth!!" Two weeks later McCurry was on the front pages as The Hampden Humper.

No thanks. Too injury prone and would destroy our wage structure.

The only decent ones would not be elected leader by these self-serving troughers. Like the SNP, once they have a snout slot their only objective is to retain it even if that means reneging on election promises or manifesto commitments and toeing the party line irrespective of personal views.

That's why I said "Good Journo" and not one trained in The Anthony Eden Journalistic Appeasement College. WASPI was a redemption opportunity for Starmer which reclaim from VIP PPE would have covered. The hole gets deeper - and they order more shovels.

Both are non-stories. Putting them in sequence implies a connection too. Good journo would ask why no game this weekend and quote the answer. Either they did not ask, or the answer did not fit their narrative.

In other news, the SFA have accepted the earth is not flat. McCann & Allan on Sportscene ranted re The Rangers players accepting the decision. Maybe they heard the whistle before Cerny put his foot on the 18yd line. On the second point, did anyone ask why? Do they work EVERY weekend?

When working, I did likewise. When they (inevitably) raised the "Yous wur lucky" and "Rat wiz a penulty" I just smiled and said "I know" "It was" then waited for the implosion which always arrived with 5 seconds. Any longer and I called an ambulance to report the cardiac arrest.
