A map showing rainfall intensity across the Wellington region, labelled β€œ1 hour rainfall total (mm) ending 20-04-2026 04:00 (NZST)”. There’s virtually no rain north of central Wellington, and a tiny blob of 75mm+ over the southern suburbs.

I don’t know how you’d even begin to try forecasting that. This map (from graphs.gw.govt.nz/envmon/daily...) shows how localised it was. Apparently the mayor said it was 3x the local record rain intensity.

imagine being so dumb and racist you thought a tsunami of butter chicken was bad.

1 day ago 19 2 0 0

Indeed. This nation would starve without diesel and we'd vote to keep it that way.

1 day ago 2 0 0 0

That also sounds pretty good. Butter chicken tacos for everyone.

NZ first, always threatening us with a good time.

Yes. But also who wouldn't want more butter chicken. What a silly metaphor he uses for his scare tactics.

Yeah, asking if she's okay would be seen as immense criticism. Best leave her and hope she has people

Seems to relish it. Mentioning boobs like that might be part of some bait for drama. Probably won't work on kiwis

How to make coffee.

Buy green coffee beans couple times a year. $200/year

Roast a batch each weekend in a popcorn maker. $19

Manual espresso machine. I use a Rok. ~$300. Decent grinder for $300

Milk frother, without Teflon (eww) from briscoes. $80

I'll leave the cost of milk up to you

Someone ask our PM how glad he is that climate change isn't real. All these storms we are getting would be so much worse if there was climate change as well.
