I don't think anyone was realistically expecting a transformational performance against Ipswich Town. Who am I kidding, Ruben Amorim & co were supposed to fix all of Manchester United's problems with just a few training sessions. It's a long road back for this club, so strap in.

Sir Alex Ferguson. 1500 games. 26 seasons.
Never lost five games in a row.
Never lost four games in a row either.
Happy Ruben Amorim Day.
Enough with false dawns. Time to begin a new era.
I don't have a microphone & my Australian accent is horrid but it has been a pleasure getting the chance to sit down with Ed every week recently & talk about all things Manchester United.
There are so many reasons to be excited & curious for Sunday, we spoke about plenty of them.
The Premier League is back today, but Manchester United is not. It's well annoying having to wait until tomorrow!
Ruben Amorim first press conference underway. Interesting to see how his charms measure up against the press, who will be after him like a hungry pack of wolves. Manchester United headlines hit like crack.
If I had to guess? Maybe Forest or Chelsea.
I don't think Wolves or Everton would've gone that way in the end.
I'm going to thoroughly enjoy Manchester City's demise.
With how chaotic the International break has been on that *other* platform - crypto scams, creepy DM's, LGBTQIA+ hate, you name it - makes you grateful the migration here has come along when it has.
I still need to set up lists etc & follow back people, but thankful for what Bluesky is providing.
I always get excited for matchday, but I haven't felt this pumped for a Manchester United game in a long time. Ipswich on Sunday cannot come quickly enough.
I'm all in on Ruben Amorim. Do you want to know why? Because that's the romanticism of football. We get to do that, we get to believe in our football clubs even in the dark times, the highs & the lows. I accept all of it, that's the fun.
Bring on the next era of Manchester United.
I never pay attention to critics.
He was brilliant!
Enjoy!
Hahaha I admittedly don't know anything about the club! I let my wife pick a club for me when I started my career & now here I am.
Gladiator II is SO much fun. Nobody has more fun than Denzel Washington, who owns every scene he is in. Paul Mescal did Russell Crowe very proud, Pedro Pascal & Connie Neilsen were excellent, Joseph Quinn & Fred Hechinger are delightful.
Alexander Karim's Ravi the sneaky surprise of it all.
When you get Aldershot into the Premier League, get your highest placed finish (5th) but finish 1st in the xG table.
Damn.
A new era began today.

It isn't taking long for Bluesky to become part of my social media routine. That seems like a good sign.
Yeah that's part of the excitement with Amorim too & how he has incorporated that at Sporting. Club has never been in a better position off the field with the support system to actually make this a serious football club again.
Thanks to my brother (Arsenal fan) I have always had the same wish for your club.
Very long road, just got to wear our lumps as they come & stay the course. Excited to see where the season leads as he figures it all out early days.
Wishing everyone a happy Rúben Amorim day to those who celebrate.
I need to make a list of all the accounts that have moved over here that I love on X/Twitter. Starter Packs/Lists full of good users you've found useful are most welcome!
I'm just going to be me on here. I hope you are going to be too.
This exodus to Bluesky seems like it actually is going to stick, at least enough that it may be like when we used to have real sports discussion during peak Twitter days - at least in some capacity. At the very least there's a chance it might, so it's worth finding out.
New era?
