It’s not until he’s slamming his own door shut that he turns towards Nyx, offering his hand. “Talcott Hester, by the way.” Nyx smiles, taking his hand. “Nyx Ulric, at your service.” The grip on his hand tightens, a jolt that leaves Nyx frowning. “What?” “You’re… you’re supposed to be dead.”
