man. it really seems like every other month i get a new blow to my motivation and will to share my art. or create at all.

im dangerously nearing homelessness and not sure how long ill be able to keep things up.
i hope other folks fare better in this miserable hellscape of a job and housing market than i have.

I've been trying to draw stuff perfectly and stuff but I mean it's not that big of a deal, why give myself something new to stress over?

Games like Dungeons of Hinterberg are the reason I will *always* prefer stylized art over realistic.

This game isn't graphically intensive, but it's absolutely gorgeous to look at.

The cowboy one reminds me of Moo Moo Yoshi from Yoshi's Woolly World :D

Doodles of Yoshi (wearing orange gloves) interacting with Chief Yoshi and a few of my old Yoshi OCs like they're video game NPCs that give the player some information or tasks. Top Left: The Village Leader aka Chief Yoshi, which I'm sure some of y'all remembered from Paper Mario, right? As his title puts it, he is the leader/chief of the Yoshi Clan/Village. He gives Yoshi some info, advices and directions to help him on his adventure or whatever. The Chief would also just comment about stuff that may or may not be related to the current events. Often times, he would bring up his heydays back when he was a young dino himself and his (mis)adventures with a certain red cap-wearing baby that we're all familiar with. ;) Top Right: Jammie, a red Yoshi who just loves jammin' to some catchy tunes whenever she hears it! Her deal is that a bunch of pesky bandits stole her collection of cassette tapes and scattered them all over the Island. Basically a side quest where Yoshi have to find and return each tape back to Jammie and unlock a new song that can be played on her boombox. Bottom Left: Twisty, a hardworking and pretty feisty Moo Moo Yoshi who resides in the wilderness part of Yoshi Island. She owns a garden full of crops that she is very protective of due to pests like Monty Moles always trying to raid it. Twisty also has a very strong tongue that helps her in a lot of things like lassoing more than one enemies at a time and pulling heavy objects. She would teach Yoshi some new tongue moves if he helps her on some tasks. Bottom Right: Zipper, a laidback Trousers/Blue Yoshi who resides at one of the island's icy mountains. He owns a ski resort and patrols the mountain in case of any accidents and such (he's kind of like a rescue dog in a way lol). Though a bit of a goof, he cares for the safety of others and is a skilled skier. He's happy to give Yoshi some ski tips and tricks that could help him on his adventure(s).

A new Yoshi game with tons of different Yoshi NPCs would've been nice :)

a bust of tailed as a massive, chesty, feral dino raptor, with an "eye mask" area of his unchanged human eyes above the snout, contrasting with the rest of the post-TF body. he is sweating and emitting excessive amounts of body heat fog. someone offscreen asks: "Tailed. are you pinning an entire person underneath your oversized dino claw-paws right now?" Tailed answers, while appearing flustered and avoiding their gaze: "uhhh... no...?" He is, however, absolutely lying, as reinforced by a little indicator above his head

a chibi-style doodle of dino raptor tailed, in a design reminiscent of one of swordknight's custom emoji faces. he looks towards the viewer with big, pleading, shiny eyes surrounded by hearts and sparkles. he is also sweating and generating a lot of heat fog around himself. some text above his head points to him and reads: "politely asked if he can step on you" i'm being polite about it after all... please...
