Really soon, I will be in New York City to help launch Mount Sinai's Back to Life Center, helping disabled people everywhere.
What should I do while I'm in NYC?
Yeah, I thought about some very dark things to put in this post, along the lines of helping to hasten the decline of chronically ill people, but I try not to do knowingly panic-inducing posting. Nonetheless, it is definitely not a good situation
@chuckwendig.bsky.social Hello. Have you heard of our Lord and Savior, Oreo? I am here to spread the good word about the delectable chocolate outside and the creamy, nobody-actually-knows-what-it-is stuffing in the middle. If you would like to know more, please send me a check for $5000.
First time visiting my PCP since the "Big, Beautiful Bill" Medicaid cuts. Doc suggested 3 critical meds to help me live better. 2 were denied, and appeals were denied. 1 was approved for a 5-day supply instead of a 90-day supply.
Being disabled in the Orange Era is SO MUCH FUN.
Well, I was enjoying TFT. But I liked set 16. 17 isn't fun. Not sure what auto-battler to go to while I wait for set 18.
Hi Steve!
Who are you
So this is a thing if you're free later today. No trouble if you're busy. We've all got a lot on our plates these days.

Why in the world are we making a game to run around shooting people in the face as Mickey Mouse. I know I'm getting old but why are we doing this?
The Milky Way Galaxy stuns in new photo captured by Artemis II.
The City of Pittsburgh just passed legislation banning cooperation with ICE.
The vote was unanimous.

Agreed, although the point was more " how have we gotten to the point where I'm agreeing with one monster that another monster is bad"
Okay, now I'm just pissed. Orangey put me on the same side as Tucker Carlson. Fuck!
The FIFA Peace Prize committee will not stand for this!
And every single person who voted for him is responsible for this. Yet I doubt any of them will take accountability for it.
I'm not saying I wouldn't try it

I have questions about the ramp positioning for these cabs.
I would truly suggest you do more research to understand game accessibility. Visit gameaccessibilityguidelines.com and read up. You are spreading misinformation. Placing OPTIONS to make parts of any game easier, based on the user's preferences, is never a bad thing.
Amen
Making my smash hit star-studded comedy show SEE YOU IN HELL has been a lot of fun but for it to continue it needs to start making some goddamn money. Here's how you can support the show and even become an "Executive Producer" (lol):
Check out the video on our YouTube channel, InterdisabledInLove, or clicky link. We love making these videos, but we need your help to tell the algorithm they are worth watching! If this resonates with you, a share means a lot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdeY...
Weβre sharing our personal story of navigating transportation hurdles, physical pain tolls, and the emotional energy required to date like everyone else. We hope it helps you or someone you love with some tips, maybe to just know they aren't the only ones figuring it all out.
A man and a woman sit side-by-side in a brightly lit, modern room. The man on the left has pulled-back hair, a greyish beard, and wears a light blue long sleeve shirt. A medical breathing tube is visible at his neck. To the right, a woman with long reddish-brown hair wearing a grey "VARIANT" sweatshirt looks toward him with a warm smile. The background features a large window with natural light, a potted plant, and minimalist black furniture.
There is a hidden "disability tax" on dating nobody wants to talk about. From the physical toll to the literal cost of accessibility, dating while disabled is expensive.
I mean, dating is hard, and long-distance is harder, but for disabled people like us, the "invisible costs" can be overwhelming.
It's not a good place
I'll thumb wrestle you for it
yep, same old arguments, just as little common sense
