Dark blue background, rainbow lines at the top and bottom. Voting for Rainbow Equality. The Rainbow Crosswalk round white logo with rainbow letters and a painted crosswalk behind it. Diversity, Inclusion and Equity are the building blocks to a great democratic and just society. It has taken decades and a century in some cases, of advocacy and hard won rights for women, children, and minorities. Canada is a mosaic full of cultural diversity and a place that respects the bodily autonomy of its citizens. This did not happen over night and we need to stand up to ensure this Canada continues. Your vote does matter, so please consider voting for Rainbow Equality. Vote for those who can not vote yet, like our communities children. Vote for Transgender, Non-binary, and BIPOC Canadians. Make your statement of support on election day by voting!
A federal election is on the way and once called, we are not able to comment.

On Monday, the Maine Secretary of State issued new guidance explaining that Maine-issued IDs are “governed by state laws, not the federal executive order,” meaning that individuals are still allowed to “receive or update a credential to reflect their gender identity.”
Alongside @MomentumCanada.net and allies across Canada, we are proud to be a part of the Vote Rainbow Equality campaign. Together, we can build a better future - for queer people, for everyone.

A new memo from Marco Rubio may have just barred most transgender people with updated gender markers who are seeking visas from obtaining visas to enter the United States.
A line of people embrace each other in the foreground, their backs turned away from us. Text above them reads, “PFLAG NATIONAL ONLINE COMMUNITY.” Smaller text below then lists out, “Advocacy, Connection, Support, Resources, Love, Hope.”
Community is essential—now more than ever. Join PFLAG National’s Online Community—a private Facebook group exclusively for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them—today: facebook.com/groups/pflagnational 🏳️🌈
Transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive youth need our support and deserve safe and inclusive spaces, especially in the classroom. For National Day of Reading tomorrow, help provide inclusive books and support safe spaces to an underfunded school.

Very pleased to see our border neighbours to the south standing up to tyrannical hate and bigotry.

No president or government can force trans people back into the closet and cover up our contributions to our country. That's why we took the Trump administration to court with @lambdalegal.bsky.social over this unlawful ban on trans servicemembers. www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-i...

ErinInTheMorning [Feb 5] -- The US State Dept has begun scrubbing mentions of trans people from its website, changing "LGBTQQIA+" to "LGB" in what appears to be a clear attempt to drive a wedge between gay and trans people.

This Black History Month, as our communities battle attempts to whitewash history, use us as scapegoats, and undo our civil rights, we must show up louder than ever before.
Let us celebrate the Black LGBTQ+ leaders who came before us and let their legacy guide us.
