I mean it's ok I guess, but I wish they made it more gold looking. S.Rookidee kinda leads you to believe that would've been the case.

There was also the time when I was first playing S/S and I got to the point where I could start using Pokeballs. The first Pokemon I encountered and caught was a shiny Rookidee. And way later into the game I caught a shiny Thievul at random

Maybe I shoulda added one of them to the list instead...

Honestly I couldn't really think of any "personal stories" involving a specific pokemon. Closest I could think of was when me and my sister were trying to get a Metagross in D/P. And we thought we had to catch 4 Beldoms to get one.

Also I remember him being really hard to catch in Colosseum too.
