Also a personal favorite, 1000xResist isn't a Nintendo game but it is on the switch and it is *FANTASTIC* and I think that everyone should play it.
Yeah TOTK is a big recommend, as is breath of the wild, those are petty good starting points. I'm currently very much enjoying the new tomodachii life game. I think Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is also fantastic jrpg but that's a much crunchier game.
