I just view her as the “Tara Strong” of the 80s, as in a VA you heard everywhere in that decade’s animated media. XD

Man! Even if you don’t have food related health problems like me, there’s just some food that makes you go “Nah man, I’m good!” when you get older.
(I even vomit at the thought of midnight snaking too tbh.)
McKimson Daffy is so underrated man.
He’s shorts during this era combined Daffy both being goofy and greedy rather well until he had to conform to what was popular with him.
Of course.
I should’ve known it was Xenoverse 3 instead of something cool with a title like “Age 1000”.
DGMW, it’s still nice that the long awaited third installment is finally coming up, but I am a little bit down is all. XD
Mini Rant:
Don’t know about anyone else, but I REALLY disliked how Cookie Jar just plastered their logo on shows made by companies they owned but didn’t produce.
I get companies like DIC and (especially) Cinar were shitty, but IDK. Kinda erasing history here.
(This got BIG buzz over there so)
Honestly, with all these social media sites going to poop with AI and other lame management problems, dropping online socials all together seems pretty good right now.
Maybe I’ll start my own website…
Don’t care what anybody says man. This and the first LA Scooby Doo movie are peak 2000’s fiction to me.
Yeah, this Josie film’s not perfect films by any means, but it’s the right amount of early 2000s cheese that make me so happy. And the cast is aces.
I watch it and SD 2002 At least once a year
That’s pretty much what I said on their official YouTube channel.
You can tell Bob had fun reading this one since it’s kinda connected to one of his legacy characters.
But Mr. Goku, I don’t wanna….😢
Wow! Somebody’s late, but same. XD
Oh no, that SpongeBob bucktooth sneakers kid meme from Family Guy is making his runs here too.
God help me. XD
Yup, those are certainly HP plots and characters you said Kee. The only exposure I got to HP were ads on my cherished Scooby Doo videos.
Then again I was always behind on pop-culture fandoms as a kid. Hell, I didn’t discover and eventually enjoy Star Wars and Ghostbusters Media until I got older.
Man, I’m so glad that new golden era collection of T&J finally exists man.
The fact that they always put Milky Wharf on DVD (with the way more uncomfortable BF scene) but skipped Mouse Cleaning always bothered me.
Thank you Jerry Beck, you made all us HB era T&J fans VERY happy.
Yeah, even before JK’s true colors shown, I was never a fan of Harry Potter. Not to dunk on you or HP fans of the past necessarily but the lore and characters just came off as boring to me.
I recall some of my friends and teachers at my special disabilities school loved HP but it wasn’t for me
It’s been so long since I’ve seen that version of the cartoon (and certainly long enough that the US Turnner channels don’t air that short on TV) that IDK.
I THINK they just cut Mammy’s scene out entirely on TV, because I remember watching it uncensored on DVD and being stunned that she appeared.
Yeah, you’re probably right. But it’s normally the shorts were she got injured that I piece together the US channels didn’t like playing.
For example, I’ve seen the top Fraidy Cat an early CN a lot, but I think they skip the scene where Tom bites her ass (his defeat moment of the short). XD
I don’t know either, I just never saw it on either of the US CN or Boomerang channels I grew up with here until I saw YT uploads of the DVD prints. And both those channels loved the shit out of T&J.
It’s also one that features Mammy, but she’s barely in it, but the US did air her shorts I remember.
It’s interesting this is one cartoon they always skip on US TV.
Personally, I think Polka Dot Puss is funny, but I wonder if it got pulled for making fun of an illness.
Hot damn, why didn’t nobody tell me the Real Ghostbusters cartoon from the mid 80s was so good and smart.
I’m watching them for the first time ever this weekend that caught me off guard with how much I’m enjoying it.
For an 80s Marquee cartoon it’s really great so far.
You know dude, it legit impress me with how thorough you are with keeping track of awful people.
I just hate being upset on social media, so I choose not to do that, but (honestly) good on you my friend.
Keep fighting the good fight.
Sorry if it feels like I’m being thoughtless for not talking about serious issues around all my social media platforms.
I just do not enjoy feeling angry on social media, and I’d rather not waste my energy screaming about some thing Trump or AI related in text.
That’s just me.
Off Topic, but what is exactly that M-word that came out of your mouth? I’ve never heard it before. Is that an insult or a business person term? XD
Yeah, a lame choice but at least Tubi’s still a free streaming site for old movies and TV shows.
Look, I strongly still agree that AI
integration into any service still sucks, but I’ve just accepted this is just a big tech thing that everyone’s using for a quick buzz. I’m not going “Anti-Tubi”.
Well, can she offer me one?
(I see the sketch lines by the way. So question, how many layers did you have to draw the final line art?)
Dude, same.
The eternal moral conundrum I always face loving both their Coraline and Kubo movies to death, but at the same time remembering the studios, slimy beginnings.
It’s tough and kinda sucks.
Honestly, if my DeviantArt and Twitter/X go kick the bucket because of their own site shenanigans…eh?
I got memories and friends on both that will be gutted sure, but I still got BlueSky for talking with friends/art peeps and Tumblr for my more consistent art.
I HATE disowning fans wanting to support nostalgic series they love, but if you still support Harry Potter in ANY way you’re supporting a genuine monster disguised as a human being and I refuse to associate with her or you.
Sometimes, separating art from bad artists is not possible guys. Sorry.
Doomscrolling and constant doomposting is not healthy.
Stay informed, yes, but I don't think it's healthy to constantly consume terrible news 24/7 and expect it to be the only thing people talk about.
Don't shame people for wanting fun and escapism.
I thought the stripper was mainly for the infamous lizard scene in Cross Country Detours?
That’s a good use of using resources in that case. XD
