MPs warn the UK Govt that NIβs Local Growth Fund 70/30 split cuts voluntary sector funding by 64%.
This reinforces what the sector has been saying: 11,000 people could lose support & 400 jobs at risk.
The clock is ticking.

Our open letter is published today in the Irish News, Belfast Telegraph & News Letter.
A 64% cut to funding tackling economic inactivity is not reform β it dismantles proven support that changes lives and protects services.

Today at Stormont, the voluntary & community sector stood together.
These services are lifelines β not optional extras.
We thank those who stood with us. Now the NI Executive, MPs & UK Govt must act: reverse the 70/30 split and protect services.

The group looked at similarities and differences from Nicosia's Green Line to the peace wall here in Belfast. As they heard from the UN and local peace activists the question was posed;
What is the real cause of division - the walls we physically see, or the walls in our minds?
The Wall2Wall group spent their first day in Cyprus being welcomed into the last divided capital in Europe!
They crossed peace barriers that split one community from another, something that resonates all too well with young people from NI.
