I'm not embarrassed to be American. I'm embarrassed BY Americans who voted for insanity and I'm embarrassed by the idiots in charge. My entire life I've heard, never bet against the United States. That still stands. We will overcome what's going on and we are going to rebuild something amazing.
The thing is, there are a lot of folks in England who absolutely love Trump. They voted for Brexit. They're anti-immigrant. These other countries have very similar struggles politically to ours. Brexit should have been the world's warning, instead its the USA.
I feel like I was able to retire at age 60 because I didn't have kids. It wasn't a conscious choice, I just never wanted to get married, never met anyone who made me want to change my mind, and I didn't want to be a single Mom. I've been having an awesome life. I don't regret not having them.
It would be really nice to get some real journalism back in the area.
