A whole big batch of Hunter miniatures done to go with the monsters I've been painting. Some rougher spots on the sculpts, and I used them as an opportunity to try mostly painting them in oils.

Finally had time to finish the Tobi-Kadachi from the MHW board game. Lots of reference had all its fuzzy white fur that wasn't sculpted much in the tail, so hopefully painting in some texture gets that across.

This model is special given I painted it entirely in oil paints.
Blending was easy, but I learned I should have had a base layer underneath closer to the original base tone as too much brushwork would erase all the paint.

And bethayne's model gimmick where she goes into her warbeast belphagor with an included magnet and alternate part.
The last "two" models I did for that legion of everblight army was repainting these warlocks Bethayne and Kryssa once I became dissatisfied with their previous look.

My favorite lists were the ones with all the character warbeasts like proteus and zuriel here, with absylonia2 at the end.
Can see how I improved the snow effect over time with these.

The other Legion of Everblight colossal my blightbringer.
If I went back and touched him up I would definitely move the green to a more blueish color for a better contrast with the red like the rocks on the base.
But lots of memories with it as the centerpiece to bulky army lists.
It was alot of practice of all the materials the army had, I had saved agathon for last as they were my favorite master during release. The smoke especially to find the technique I liked to get it to look right. Zaateroth and Omodamos at the start each had a slightly different way I got the effect.
Realized I was missing my agathon in my photos. That entire scroll is real words in the infernal script painted with oils for ease of fixing mistakes. Its just an english cipher also their name on the base of them and all the other named characters in this army

Thank you, once there's a layer of paint on I can dig into my terrain supplies to add details of moss and smaller branches to finish the illusion
Last post for tonight with the Gorm from kdm, I went a bit overboard with the green lighting, but I like how the eyes turned out in person with the gloss varnish.
maybe a string of replies or a thread wouldve been better for tonights photos but o well

That previous post won me this guy Ugg the Troll Cook as prize support and I painted him for a competition at my local hobby store, unfortunately did not place. Made the base out of carved up styrene and I couldve done a better job at contrast with a darker and saturated wood color
