I am about 4 hrs into Pragmata, and this is insanely fun. IDK if it's gonna end up in any GOTY discussion, but this is why CAPCOM is my fav dev studio; they make weird concept games, but execute it to fine-tuned precision.

It is so easy to make decisions when it is not your blood, sweat, and tears that go into implementing it.
You guys are so cool, hastily implementing something with quantifiable and catastrophic consequences, and saving tens of thousands of pesos on a professional QA team by making the stakeholders the QA team. That is a true blue corpo move there, choom.

...I'm already imagining future playthrough being very rote for these two sections, whereas the third section will prolly feel like RPD or Spencer where you have the agency to optimize your route and improvise due to the erratic enemy patterns.
6/6
- First 2 Grace chapters are VERY linear; I would compare it to RE3 Remake and Castle Dimitrescu more than House Beneviento or Heisenberg's Factory: it seems open, but not really...
5/6
...but in moment to moment combat, they're about 3x as jerky (especially their heads, my god) as in RE2. I'll get used to it; right now, chalk it up to a skill issue.
4/6
? Enemy patterns are very erratic, which are very fun for Leon, but are mixed for Grace; I like how it makes the 3rd section onwards relatively nondeterministic, requiring improvisation (always fun in RE), ...
3/6
+ I'm currently at the 3rd Grace chapter; now THIS is fricking Resident Evil. Winding non-linear layouts very reminiscent of Spencer Mansion and the RPD.
2/6
Relatively Non-spoilery Impressions of Resident Evil Requiem after the first 3 hours (on Standard(Classic)):
+ Leon sections are just as fun mechanically than RE4 (if not more)
+ Leon sections feel more dangerous, around the same level as RE2 in terms of atmosphere

I did 12 days' worth of work these past 2 days. Now, if you excuse me, I shall return to Planet Popstar, where I, like Kirby, shall slumber and feed. #poyo

I just did 5.25 hrs of research consultations. I'm done for the day. Please no more work messages until tomorrow, I beg of you :'(
Less egregiously, the people behind me were so into the movie because I swear to god I could hear them crying and their snot flying into their tissues during For Good.
The movie had a lot of kangaroos. 10/10

The kid with them was like a super uber Wicked fan. I could tell because he was announcing every song before, during, and after the song, and he sang along to the last part of For Good, but just because he is a SUPER UBER FAN doesn't mean he has vocal training, because GOD he was out of tune.
2/3
Wicked was so good, but I had the worst theater experience.
The people in front of us kept using their phones. I swear one of them took out a laptop and was making a fricking PowerPoint during No Good Deed.
