Oooooh I totally agree! Yes I gotta check to see if my library has more & if not, I will suggest they make a purchase hehe ☺️
No, I haven’t but it is on my TBR!
I loved that book sm! The audiobook was excellent hehe
I genuinely felt like I was dragged into the trenches with our main character😭 Diop is an incredible atmospheric and immersive writer. It was a tough read and different from everything else I read, but I def wanna check out Diop’s other work! What was your reading experience w/ the book??
I don’t have DID so I can’t speak to the authenticity of the portrayal, I know UNHELPFUL AS WELL😭 but!!!!! I found the different personalities to all have such distinct narrative voices. Audiobook was hard to grasp at first for me so maybe try the ebook or print book?
Was so much fun!

Cover reveal of What Feeds Below by Tatiana Schlote-Bonne
“The darkness isn’t empty. It’s hungry.”
The darkness isn't empty. It's hungry. At the edge of the City of the Void, a massive chasm extends miles into the earth, its treacherous terrain overrun with vicious monsters and carnivorous plants. For orphaned best friends Petra and Jade, guiding treasure-seeking tourists down into the Void is the only way to earn enough to pull themselves up out of the slums for good. Petra prefers to play it safe and take jobs only in the Void's upper levels, where the dangers are better understood, while Jade wants to risk a descent to the deepest and most mysterious Sixth Layer. Because the deeper they go, the better the payout, and the sooner their dreams can become reality. Their friendship is Petra's whole world, and Jade's approval means everything so Petra agrees to do it Jade's way. When their job goes wrong and Jade is lost in the Void, Petra must plunge deeper than she's ever dared to save her friend. But she doesn't know the truth of the Void... or what really waits for her in its depths.

I’m seriously considering it too, like I understand it is a free app, but I don’t want my words and pictures and videos to train AI 😭
Meta using public accounts’ posts & stories archive to train Meta AI is so disheartening & exhausting.
I feel like I am banging my head against the wall, begging us to get AWAY from all things AI😭
Sending everyone who has a hard time with holidays in general a really tight, warm virtual hug ❤️🩹
