OTD 1746 Battle of Culloden saw final defeat of Jacobites under Bonnie Prince Charlie after charging Duke of Cumberland’s redcoats. Archaeology has added much to our understanding here and it’s great to be back doing more with @n-t-s.bsky.social
A fantastic day completely off-radar with NTS @n-t-s.bsky.social Project Oversight Comittee touring the remoter parts of Mar Lodge Estate - a real jewel in our collection and well worth a visit!
