Strongly typed languages vs weakly typed languages is a Hobbs vs Locke dichotomy.
Are people inherently good or evil?
The lack of unit tests speaks to Hobbs view that people cannot be trusted to their own devices.

Nuance on the OOP topic is good though.
OOP is valuable but is disparaged by overuse of inheritance.
To any OOP opponents... If inheritance was never used would OOP be bad?

Watching theprimetime YouTube reacting to "You Don't Know OOP" and pretty much agreeing to most.
At one point though, he's saying he doesn't agree with "public fields are bad".
He is missing the point the getters and setters define the interface too.
Only time I wish I could respond live. Heh.
