The agriculture secretary must not know what potash is or what its used for. Seems like something they should know about.

Already some good stories of how coworkers using AI to make simple things long is annoying.
If the person who sent it to me didn't write it then I don't want to read it. Literally just send me whatever prompt you used to write it, thats more truthful than outsourcing it to the 'infinite monkey typewriter' machine.
I'm still thinking we have a Ford vs Kenney fight for the leadership next.
I mean, paid work is good! Well done!
That might end even worse for the Imperium
BLUESKYers: I am writing a section of a paper today. Send me all your examples of Trump's impeachable offenses. (If you want to be extra generous to me, include an authoritative source to go along with it.) GO!
Those were certainly words, some I even understood 😉
Guessing you mean smashed, yep, that would do it too. Some movies are better after a few drinks.
Honestly this would be the only way to get me to watch a 40k movie. "Minions vs the Imperium" honestly sounds like a banger I'd bring my kid to see.
I seem to recall an article last year connecting the dots from Orban to some of the Canadian RW ecosystem folks. I think its an appropriate time to reread that one.
Manages to get through a call for focusing on teaching and civic purpose without even glancing toward contingency and adjunctification of faculty as perhaps a factor in the problem. A call to change without examining the structures that control higher ed is performative B.S. at this point.
Watching Big Mistakes, and already I'm a fan before the episode is even over. Perfectly chaotic just like I love to see Dan Levy, and Taylor Ortega keeps up with him so well.
👏 Canada 👏 Post 👏 is 👏 a 👏 public 👏 service 👏
Nothing proves how capitalism has brain rotted everyone than thinking the post office, hospitals, public transit, libraries, etc. need to turn a profit to be worthwhile.
I'm sure the next thing will be complaining that police forces aren't self funding through fines and speeding tickets (only levied on poor people of course).
Turn everything into the capitalist dystopia they wish it was.
Based on the report I must assume that Yale created postsecondary education in 1701, then nothing much happened until the 20th century, and there are no comparators to speak of to Yale outside of the US.
This is more broadly generalizable: If you don't do the research yourself, you have no idea if AI is making stuff up. And if you do the research yourself, then AI isn't saving you much labor, if any.
Today's odd little moment of University governance query was "how much academic data sovereignty do we have in a major Canadian university"
I have reached out to a colleague, but with the far reaches of the CLOUD act - I suspect very little. Most of our systems are delivered by US subsidiaries.
It is and its perfect trash. Though one couple is forgettable, as in i keep forgetting who they are.
I feel like we need a "workday to real life" translator. Better yet for workday to actually use the same terms as our policies and procedures.
LOL, don't do my poststructuralists dirty like that :D
100% super creepy.
I get Heidegger (no nazis), but why Rawls?
Because of how much I hated reading him 😀.
~I get the point, interesting... wait there's how many more pages in this section? Is he saying something new later? Nope, just the same point beaten around endlessly~
Man needed an editor.
I hear his later stuff is better, but either/or was a slog.
It's been strange watching people scream about what a far left socialist he is while he implements Harper term 1's wishlist.
Building that this month with my committee, but looks like two long papers (publication length) followed by a 2 hour oral exam.
Kierkegaard.
Assignment submitted. That's the last of my PhD coursework done. Next step: comps!
I'm glad you're safe.
